Organisational structure review

From AUD 4,800 · quote after discovery

Duration: 3–5 weeks typical

Delivery: Perth metro and WA regional (travel billed separately)

Who this is for

Growing businesses where reporting lines grew informally: a second site opened, a founder stepped back from daily supervision, or a new layer of “team leads” appeared without written scopes.

Typical clients include trade contractors with admin and field staff, wholesale distributors, professional services firms with 15–60 employees, and family businesses preparing for a management handover.

What you receive

  • Current-state interviews with owners and line managers (usually 45 minutes each)
  • Draft organisation chart with proposed reporting lines
  • Role summary documents (purpose, key tasks, decision rights, interfaces with other roles)
  • Meeting to walk supervisors through changes and capture objections before rollout
  • Final PDF pack suitable for internal circulation and contract renewals

What is not included

  • Legal representation in disputes or Fair Work matters
  • Payroll system configuration or award interpretation beyond advisory notes
  • Recruitment sourcing or candidate screening

Process

  1. Discovery call — team size, sites, industry, and what prompted the review
  2. Document review — existing contracts, informal job descriptions, prior org charts
  3. Interviews — owners, supervisors, and a sample of staff where helpful
  4. Draft delivery — chart and role summaries for comment within agreed timeline
  5. Revision round — one structured revision cycle included; further changes quoted separately
  6. Rollout support — optional supervisor briefing session (quoted if not in initial scope)

Preparation

Gather current employment contracts, any position descriptions, and a list of who currently approves leave, overtime, and purchasing. If you use a shared roster or timesheet system, note how shifts are supervised today.

Next step

Request a briefing call via the contact page or email info@desktop-laurelcore.click with your team size and primary concern.
